Our stay was wonderful! The Bentley tour was a highlight, combining humor and local history, and the room was spacious and welcoming. The thoughtful touch of a birthday card made it extra special, especially for our family, including our beloved pet.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities or play areas available during our stay.

During my two-night stay, I enjoyed a clean and comfortable room along with a pleasant buffet breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made my experience much better. However, navigating the hotel's older sections was somewhat challenging due to the stairs, and the dining options could have been more varied on certain days.

missingWrote a review on Sept 22historic charmspacious suitegreat locationroom temperature
Historical charm defines the experience here, with the hotel positioned right next to the Cathedral and a quick walk to city center attractions. The impressive suite featured two large flat-screen TVs, ample seating, and good bathroom amenities, although it lacked a fridge and air conditioning.
Temperature control was an issue with the absence of air conditioning, making the already warm rooms feel stifling, especially on hot days. Additional costs for breakfast were disappointing given the room charge, and the mirror in one of the rooms had sharp edges, creating an unexpected hazard. Moreover, a stagnant water smell lingered in one room, which detracted from the overall comfort.

Just a prime choice for a short weekend trip in Norwich with outstanding value. Breakfast was really good, with excellent fruit selection. If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room at the back.

Had a 1 night stay and the staff were really friendly from the moment we arrived, they even helped us get cabs booked. The hotel has amazing character and we loved the spaciousness of the lobby and rooms, definitely felt like a classy joint.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what we got, it was acceptable.

Consider requesting a mattress topper upon arrival if you prefer a softer bed for a more comfortable stay.

Historical significance, access to historical landmarks, free guest bicycles
Some rooms lack adequate storage!!! The lift is small and slow, creating a challenge for higher floors!!! Parking should not cost extra, especially for a premium hotel!!!
